A BIT ABOUT ME

My name is Ian Barker, I am a professional musician and guitar teacher. I studied the guitar at Leeds College of Music and since then I have taught a wide range of students of all ages and abilities, and this includes some local guitar tutors. With 30 years experience behind me I believe that I have developed into a competent teacher - one who recognises the need to give continual support and encouragement to my students whether they are studying for grades or simply playing the guitar as a hobby.
